BEWARE THE WIND!
Radio Interview, January 1st, 2010
KRTS Marfa Radio will interview Brian LeBarton at 10am GMT (8am PST/11am EST) on January 1st, 2010 about his upcoming live & improvised score to “The Wind”. Brian also talks about his work with Beck, music scoring and his many other dubious dealings. Listen at 93.5 FM or online here.
Following the interview is a discussion with Dr. Ira Blanton, Professor at Sul Ross University, who teaches The Wind - both the novel and the film – in his Western Folklore class. Both interviews will be rebroadcast the same evening at 6:30 PM.
The performance takes place at The Crowley Theater on January 2nd, doors at 8pm, show at 8:30. See previous post for concert poster and press release.

Charlotte Gainsbourg Album out in Europe

The Charlotte Gainsbourg album “IRM” written and produced by Beck is out today in Europe. Those living in Europe can find it on iTunes, CD or the quadruple 10″ vinyl deluxe package. The album features contributions from Brian LeBarton on keyboards, percussion, drums and bass.
“IRM” comes out on January 26th in the US on Because Music/Elektra.
Charlotte and her band are currently parading around Paris, if you can find them, join them.
